Description
Genteal Lubricant Eye Gel with 0.3% Hypromellose is a long-acting eye gel used to wet and lubricate the surface of the eye for people with ocular discomfort caused by dry eye conditions.
It contains a unique disappearing preservative, sodium perborate, which degrades with water to yield trace amounts of hydrogen peroxide to provide an antimicrobial action. The anti-microbial system helps to prevent the opened bottle from becoming contaminated while avoiding preservative-related hypersensitivity reactions.
Once instilled in the eye, hydrogen peroxide is rapidly degraded by enzymes present in ocular tissue to yield water and oxygen.

Carbomer 0.22%; Hypromellose 0.3%
Directions for use:
Adults – Place one drop in each eye and blink several times, taking care to avoid touching eye with container tip. Ensure hygiene by washing hands before use.
Indication:
Suitable as a substitute tear fluid for the alleviation of dry eye conditions as well as for the management of an unstable tear film.
Suitable for contact lens users but it is recommended for lenses to be removed prior to using the eye gel.
